We are so excited to celebrate with you at Vanderkamp Wilderness Retreat in Bernhards Bay, New York. Vanderkamp is a beautiful, tucked-away venue set on 850 remote acres in Upstate New York, so we recommend planning your travel and lodging in advance. Venue Location Vanderkamp Wilderness Retreat 204 County Route 17 Bernhards Bay, NY 13028 Please note that Vanderkamp is a remote, laid-back venue. Cell service and rideshare availability may be limited, so we recommend arranging transportation ahead of time.

Transportation Notes

Vanderkamp is located in a quiet, rural setting, so we recommend that guests plan transportation in advance. Rideshare services such as Uber or Lyft may be limited near the venue, especially later in the evening. Guests staying offsite should plan to drive, carpool, or arrange transportation ahead of time. Please allow extra time for the drive, especially if you are unfamiliar with the area. Important note: Transportation to and from Vanderkamp is not currently provided, so guests should plan accordingly.

We recommend booking lodging early, especially for guests hoping to stay onsite or at one of the preferred hotel options. For those flying in, Syracuse Hancock International Airport is the easiest airport option and is the closest major airport to the venue. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in such a beautiful Upstate New York setting!

Syracuse Hancock International Airport — SYR is the most convenient airport for guests flying in. The airport serves Central New York and offers nonstop service to multiple destinations. Approximate drive time to Vanderkamp: 35–45 minutes

This is a great option for guests who want a more scenic stay while still being within driving distance of Vanderkamp.

It is a good choice for out-of-town guests flying in or anyone who prefers to stay closer to Syracuse-area amenities.
